Mission + Vision
Humanity, with humility.
Humanility exists to emancipate, educate and empower survivors of poverty, atrocity, tragedy and slavery — and it all begins with U.
Our impact
Urban
Street children and orphans are freed from abusers and traffickers, then fed, clothed, educated and empowered. Families in poverty and disaster survivors gain training, skills and work.
Rural
Indigenous communities in conflict-affected areas grow peace through educational and economic development.
Local
Neighbors facing poverty and homelessness at home receive food, clothing and skills training — and local communities are mobilized to help.
Our values
Justice
Fairness and freedom for all, and human rights for every person.
Compassion
Love in action — the way we operate.
Excellence
Effective, efficient, high-quality work.
Sustainability
Ongoing funding through social entrepreneurship and creative means.
Community
We're accountable to one another, and we grow together.
Creativity
Innovative solutions and room for originality.
Substance
We address root causes for real, lasting change.
Humility
A mindset that says “it could be me.”
Value
Every person has innate worth and deserves dignity.
Convergence
None of us knows what all of us know — together we multiply impact.
